Ecclesiastes 1:9 says, "What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun."  Isn't that true?   From the beginning of time:

  • Parents have been concerned about their kids
  • Their have been times of great corruption
  • The world has know of wars and rumors of wars
  • Periods of affluence and need have circled the globe
  • Humankind has wondered about what comes next

There is nothing new under the sun.  It may take a different form, but the emotions and struggles we have today have always been in existence.  That's why it's so  important to learn from the past.

I'm sure you've heard it said before that those who fail to learn the lessons of the past are doomed to repeat them.   Life is too tough to have to learn ALL those mistakes over again.  What could improve in our life if we were able to take some "short-cuts" with life lessons?  How would our life be better if we were able to learn from the past so we can improve our future?  That's what this series is all about.  Learning lessons from TIME!  Lessons about life, money, peace, gaining control and even rest.  Is there someone in your life that you know would really benefit from this series?  Invite them to come along with you as HVCC goes Retro.
