    Remedy Drive in Concert

    Oct 8th at 7pm, Remendy Drive, along with two other bands will be performing at the RC High School Auditorium. Tickets are $10 in advance or $12 at the door; proceeds to go the HVRC SOUL kitchen.

    Sept 10th at 7pm, we will be hosting Nathan Tasker in concert at the downtown auditorium. Tickets are $8 in advance or $10 at the door, and all proceeds go to the Richland Center SOUL kitchen.

    S.O.U.L. Kitchen

    Every 3rd Wednesday of the month HVCC provides a free meal to community members who need to stretch their dollars. It runs from 5:30-7:00 at the Town & Country Presbyterian Church located at 345 Cairns Avenue in Richland Center.     Bring in Your Cans!
    Hidden Valley’s C.S.I. team will be collecting cans on the first Sunday of each month. The proceeds from this collection will be used to fund future outreach events in our community. A collection site will be set up in the Hidden Valley parking lot on the first Sunday of each month.

I LOVE surprises!  I LOVE presents!  Christmas is about both.  It always has been.  When we celebrate the birth of Jesus, we are celebrating the greatest present ever given to this darkened world and it was definitely a surprise. 

Who would have ever dreamed that God would become one of us?  Yet, that’s what He did. 

  • The one who was there before our world was created
  • The one who knows where the lightening is stored
  • The one who has seen the depths of the oceans
  • The one who has traveled to the edge of the universe
  • The one through whom all things were made
  • The one through whom all things are sustained
  • The eternal Son of God

Jesus

…became one of His own creations.  He took on human form and voluntarily limited the full use of His unstoppable powers so that He could rescue us all from our fallen position with God the Father.  No wonder the angels announced this message to the shepherds that night so long ago:

Luke 2:10-11 I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord.
