The Olympics are HERE!  It’s time to celebrate great athletic performance.  These are the best of the best in the entire world. 

As you know, not one of them woke up one morning and just became an Olympic athlete.  They trained and sacrificed and dedicated themselves to this goal.  That’s how they got here.  The result of their commitment is sustained high performance in the area of athletics.

Jesus calls us to an Olympic Spirit type dedication to God. 

In Matthew 22:37-38, Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. 'This is the first and greatest commandment.

Notice how many times the word ALL appears in that verse.   This is not a “take-it or leave it faith.”  This is “100% sold out to God” faith.  That’s the only way it works.
