Brian Rudesill Senior Pastor
Brian moved to Dodgeville in October of 1997 for the purpose of starting a church for people who have given up on church, but not on God. Brian loves his job and feels blessed to be HVCC's senior pastor. "I think we have one of the coolest churches ever! I've never been around such a sacrificial group of Christians...they will lay their lives down to serve others. It's so humbling."
Favorite drink: Turtle Shake from Culvers
First job: De-tassling corn. He did it so he could buy a bike...it wasn't worth it.
Perfect day: Sitting on a beach on a sunny day with his wife reading books, and enjoying a picnic lunch
What he wanted to be when he grew up? Superman!
What's in your CD player? Def Leppard, Need to Breathe & The Newsboys

Randy Strickland Director of Worship & Media, Dodgeville
Randy, his wife Laci and their two children Noah and Ella, relocated from North Carolina to join the staff in April of 2012
What's your dream car...and why? My dream car is pretty lame. I want a truck. don't really even care what it is, just a nice truck. I've always driven little compact cars.
What is your favorite food? Pizza of any kind. I've worked in three different pizza shops in my life and have loved them all.
Biggest Indulgence: Did I mention I like pizza?
What was your childhood ambition? I always wanted to be a baseball player when I was a kid.
What inspires you? I get inspired when I see people living out their passion. Whenever you see someone working in something they are deeply moved by, they put so much effort and determination into it and it makes me want to be more like them.
Shanna Ahrens Financial Administrator
After attending HVCC for over 10 years, Shanna joined the staff in April of 2011. She lives with her husband Brad and their three girls in Dodgeville.
What is your dream car and why? Anything that's not a van...because it is not a van.
What is your greatest indulgence? Doritos and Velveeta and salsa dip. I'm not gonna lie. It's not pretty watching me sit down with a bowl of that stuff.
Who inspires you? My dad
Perfect day: On a sunny beach with my mom and my sisters laughing and drinking Margaritas.
Jamie Johnson Richland Center Site Director
Jamie joined the staff in 2007, after attending HVCC for several years, to lead the HVCC campus in Richland Center. Jamie and his wife Shari live in Richland Center with their three beautiful children.
Favorite Drink: Pepsi or a Mint Shake
What he wanted to be when he grew up? Truck driver or a Teacher
Favorite Movie: An action movie he can crank the surround sound volume on when the family is gone
First job: Clerk at a gas station

Cherie Rudesill Connections Director
Cherie joined the staff in May of 2009, after 16 years of being a stay at home mom. She lives in Dodgeville with her husband Brian and their five children.
Latest Purchase: A Toddy cold brew coffee system
Favorite Drink: Iced Latte
First Job: Planting melons on a U-Pick farm
Biggest Inspiration: People who don't let a physical or mental disability stop them from pursuing their dreams, and the care takers who help to make their dreams come true
Favorite Pastimes: great movie, watching football games with friends, and soaking up the sun while reading a book on a beach

Kevin Ziebarth Director of Building Projects & Maintenance
Kevin joined the staff in 2004 after years of keeping up the buildings as a volunteer. Kevin and his wife June live in Spring Green and have four children.

Lorie Rule Director of Video Editing
Lorie joined the team in May of 2010, after attending for many years. She lives in Dodgeville with her husband Jim.
Favorite Thing to do: Laugh.
Her One Word goal for 2011: Aware. "I am focusing this year on being aware of what is going on around me and just trying to live in the moment."
Biggest Influence: Being a part of a life group at HVCC and now being on staff has greatly impacted her life.
Favorite Pastimes: Fishing, hunting, traveling with her husband, reading, cooking, and spending time with her kids and grandchildren.
