We had such dreams when we were young of what marriage and family would be like.   We dream of perfect romance, “happily ever after” and perfect bliss.  We imagine that marriage will be like Prince Charming and Snow White.   Parenting will be like Leave it to Beaver and the Cosby show.  But what do we get?  The Osbournes. 

  • Conflict that builds and doesn’t go away
  • Relationships that are difficult and require a lot of work
  • Children that have their own will and want to exercise it
  • Pain, fear, stress
