november Monthly Serving Focus

Our serving focus for the month of November is supporting the Iowa County Santa Cop Program. Since 1994, the Iowa County Santa Cop Program has been dedicated to making a positive impact in our community through two important missions:

• Building positive relationships between children and law enforcement by showing that the people behind the badge are caring members of the community.

• Providing Christmas gifts to children who may not otherwise receive them.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of Iowa County businesses, organizations, and residents, the program distributes more than $15,000 in gifts each year. These gifts include clothing, books, and toys for children, as well as fruit baskets for elderly residents throughout Iowa County.

This month we are asking for donations of small puzzles, board games, hats, scarves and mittens for children. These donations can be put in the red tote in the lobby.

To give financially, you can:

• Drop cash or coin donations in the collection jar at the Connection Center on Sunday mornings.

• Put a check or cash in your offering envelope and mark “MSF” in the memo line of the check or mark it on the envelope and place it in the offering box.

• Give online and select DV Monthly Serving Focus as your donation category.
